* Growing Fresh Air THE RUBBER PLANT

In our earlier article (click here to read), we showed you how to grow fresh air by  using common house plants.

The Rubber Plant is another plant to use to grow fresh air.

Formerly known as the Ficus Robusta, the rubber plant was a favorite of the Victorians and remains equally popular today. Bred for toughness, it will survive in less light than most plants its size. It will tolerate dim light and cool temperatures.

This plant is easy to grow and is especially effective at removing FORMALDEHYDE.

CARE
Feed regularly during the summer months only. Water regularly from midsummer to fall, allowing the soil to dry slightly between watering, then water sparingly. The rubber tree does not tolerate overwatering
